MOSCOW (Reuters) – Proposed changes to oil industry taxation, including fixed discounts on Russian oil to dated Brent, will boost Russia’s state budget by 600 billion roubles ($8.2 billion) this year, Deputy Finance Minister Mikhail Kotyukov said on Tuesday.

Speaking at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on budget and taxes, Kotyukov also said the proposed changes will not have a negative impact on Russian oil production.
