DUBLIN (Reuters) – Paschal Donohoe was appointed as Ireland’s finance minister on Thursday, returning to the role for the second time, having held the portfolio from 2017 to 2022.
Donohoe has been chair of the group of euro zone finance ministers since 2020 and held the Irish government’s other budget portfolio, public expenditure minister, for the last two years.
