India raises ethanol procurement prices for fuel retailers

MUMBAI (Reuters) – India has raised purchase prices for ethanol that state-run fuel retailers must pay to sugar mills, the information minister said on Wednesday, as the world’s third-largest oil importer and consumer seeks to reduce its reliance on overseas petroleum product purchases.
