BEIJING (Reuters) – China firmly opposes the move by the United States to penalise countries that buy oil and gas from Venezuela with tariffs on trades with the U.S., the Chinese foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
The United States should stop interfering in Venezuela’s internal affairs and abolish the “illegal” unilateral sanctions on Venezuela, Guo Jiakun, a spokesperson at the Chinese ministry, said at a regular news conference.
