KEY CONTEXT

Crompton said “subdued demand” conditions in the fourth quarter affected overall revenue growth. Delayed summers also affected the sale of fans, in which Crompton is considered to be the market leader by analysts.

The slower growth in fans led to overall revenue in the electric consumer durables segment growing 6% year on year, slower than the 14.3% growth last year. Crompton added that demand conditions could improve from second half of fiscal 2026.
