UK agricultural exports to EU could rise by 16% under new deal, official estimates show

LONDON (Reuters) – British exports of major agricultural commodities to the European Union could increase by around 16% under Britain’s new deal with the trading bloc, government estimates published on Monday showed.

The sanitary and phytosanitary deal could increase imports from the European Union by around 8%, the modelling document said.

The document did not set out a timeframe for the estimated changes.
