(Reuters) -British water utility Pennon Group on Friday said its CEO Susan Davy has decided to retire after a near five-year stint in the top role.
A veteran in the water sector, Davy previously served as the finance chief of Pennon and was with the company for more than 18 years.
During Davy’s tenure, Pennon completed various strategic acquisitions and a successful multi-billion pound sale of its waste-management business, Viridor.
Pennon’s board will conduct a formal search for a successor, during which time, Davy will continue to helm the company, it said in a statement.
