Exclusive-Bolsonaro says he wants passport to meet with Trump -Reuters interview

BRASILIA (Reuters) -Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro would meet with U.S. President Donald Trump if he had access to his passport, he told Reuters in an interview on Friday, following federal police searches of his home and party headquarters.

Bolsonaro’s passport was seized last year on orders from Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes, who stepped up searches and restraining orders against the former president on Friday due to alleged collusion with Trump to interfere in his trial for an alleged coup. Bolsonaro called Moraes a “dictator” in an interview with Reuters at his party’s headquarters.
