The Canadian dollar was unchanged against the greenback on Friday, and the yield on benchmark government debt slipped.
The loonie was trading is unchanged at C$1.4488 to the greenback, or 69.02 U.S. cents, after trading in a range of 1.4432 to 1.451.
Canadian government 10-year bond yields fell 3.5 basis points to 3.087%. The yield on similar U.S. government benchmark debt rose to 4.5205%.
U.S. March crude futures rose 12 cents to $72.85 a barrel on Friday.
