Fire put out at oil refinery in Azerbaijan’s Baku, emergency services say

MOSCOW (Reuters) -A fire at an oil refinery in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku was extinguished on Wednesday, emergency cervices said.

The fire hit a refinery in the Nizaminsky district of Baku. The district is a location for the Heydar Aliyev oil refinery, one of the country’s largest, which processes 6.5 million metric tons (130,000 barrels per day) of oil per year.
