PESHAWAR, Pakistan (Reuters) – At least seven people were killed in a blast during a meeting of a local peace committee in Pakistan’s South Waziristan region on Monday, police said.
The explosion caused a portion of the building where the meeting was taking place to collapse, police officer Usman Wazir said, adding that it was not clear who was behind the attack.
