(Reuters) – Britain’s National Grid on Thursday named Zoë Yujnovich as its next chief executive, succeeding John Pettigrew who, after almost 10 years in post, will retire from the role in November.
Yujnovich, formerly an integrated gas and upstream director at Shell, has previously held senior roles at Rio Tinto and is also a non-executive director on Unilever’s board.
Yujnovich will join the National Grid Board as chief executive designate on September 1 and will be appointed chief executive on November 17.
