BEIJING (Reuters) – Consumption in China has rebounded significantly since the beginning of the year, Wang Wentao, China’s commerce minister, told journalists at a press briefing in Beijing on Thursday.
Wang pointed to how passenger numbers had increased over the Lunar New Year period, restaurants and cinemas were filling up, and an increase in demand for plane tickets to illustrate the point.
