BANGKOK (Reuters) – Thailand is aiming for a record of 40 million foreign visitors this year, above an earlier target of 35 million, the tourism minister said on Thursday.
Thailand is targeting 2 million Indian visitors this year, up from last year’s 1.62 million with spending of 62 billion baht ($1.73 billion), helped by a visa-free programme, Sudawan Wangsupakitkosol said in a statement.
